Optics

In the war against the Russian occupiers, our military uses a wide range of types of optics. Depending on the nature of the combat missions of the unit, the type of terrain, the season, and the tasks of a particular military, a clear view and technical characteristics of the equipment are needed to see the enemy from afar. This is always important: in protecting one’s positions, observing the neutral zone, the front line, and in reconnaissance.

Just under the familiar word “thermal imager” there are many characteristics, such as the type of matrix and its resolution, range of operation, angle of view, zoom, and, in fact, the design: monocular, binocular, or sight.

In addition, the Foundation purchased and transferred 1,162 thermal imagers to the Igla MANPADS, 1,000 PVS Gen-3, and other optical devices.

For the Defense Forces to work effectively, a lot of optics are needed!
