Restoring access to hybrid and offline learning in schools
through the reconstruction, arrangement and filling of shelters
68% of operating Ukrainian schools have temporary protective structures of various types, which allow them to start at least hybrid or completely offline learning.
However, a large proportion of these shelters do not meet the current building standards for temporary protective structures, cannot accommodate all students or are uncomfortable for long-term stay.
The resolution of the critical humanitarian crisis in most of the deoccupied territories allowed us to begin work on their restoration, including the educational process
in schools. Together with representatives of local governments of deoccupied communities, we have launched and are expanding the database of verified educational institutions in need of shelter.
1 boarding school is under reconstruction. 2 more educational institutions have been put into operation.
